Edinburgh Fringe diaries
The BBC News website has asked three people involved in this year's Edinburgh Fringe festival to write about their experiences as the event unfolds.

A venue manager, a show producer and a debutant stand-up comic are sharing their views from three different perspectives.

Adam Buxton

Comic Adam Buxton is making his debut as a stand-up on the Edinburgh Fringe. He is best known for his work alongside Joe Cornish as duo Adam and Joe.


Keith Burstein

Keith Burstein is the producer and composer of fringe show Manifest Destiny - an opera set amongst suicide bombers who renounce evil.

Charles Pamment

The BBC News website's Charles Pamment runs one of the many temporary venues set up for the Edinburgh Fringe.
