LeBlanc's character Joey endures after Friends |
Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc is moving into the film production business with a sci-fi horror movie set in World War II, reports have said. The Watch will be directed by Victor Salva, the filmmaker behind the Jeepers Creepers movies, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film centres on a team of soldiers who are being hunted by an evil entity unleashed by Nazi experiments.
LeBlanc played Joey in the long-running sitcom Friends, which ended in 2004.
He has since gone on to star in Friends spin-off Joey, which is currently into its second series in the US.
LeBlanc will produce The Watch with his partner John Goldstone under their Fort Hill Production company.
Since being formed last year, Fort Hill has produced the WB Network pilot The Prince, and sold an untitled Dennis Hopper sitcom to the NBC network.
The Watch will be their first feature film.
