Bj�rk and Catherine Deneuve step out at Cannes

In the film, pop singer Bj�rk plays a Czech immigrant who is going blind and lives out a fantasy life inspired by Hollywood musicals.

Dancer in the Dark, directed by Lars Von Trier and also starring Catherine Deneuve, goes on nationwide release on Friday.

FilmFour's deputy chief executive Peter Buckingham said: "If you go to see Dancer In the Dark today and decide after having watched it for 30 minutes, that the experience was not worth the price of your ticket, the cinema manager will refund your money to you."

Icelandic singer Bj�rk also won the Best Actress award at Cannes for her performance and wrote the soundtrack for the movie.

FilmFour is the film production and distribution arm of Channel 4 and has produced notable hits Four Weddings and a Funeral, Brassed Off and The Madness of King George.

The company funds around 20 films a year, financing both populist and arthouse cinema.
