Cost of calling mobiles increases
Calls to Guernsey mobile phones have become more expensive.

The charges for calls made from landlines has risen by as much as five pence a minute.

Standard rate calls made to Cable and Wireless and Wave mobile phones within the Bailiwick has gone up from 12 pence a minute to 14.8 pence.

The cheap rate has also increased from nine pence to 14.8, while the Sunday rate has also risen, going up from nine pence to 11.8 pence a minute.

The changes came into effect on Wednesday.
