Thick fog disrupts island flights
Hundreds of people in Guernsey had their travel plans disrupted on Friday because of thick fog covering the island's airport.

The weather caused cancellations and delays throughout the day with aircraft unable either to land or take off at the airport.

Most of Aurigny and Rockhopper's inter-island services between Guernsey and Jersey were cancelled.

The remaining services are still severely delayed.

Forecasters are predicting the fog will start to clear around midnight
