US President, Barack Obama has called for the aspirations of Palestinians and Israelis to be "met through two states".
In a keynote speech in Cairo Mr Obama called for a "new beginning" in ties with the Muslim world.
He said "Israelis must acknowledge that just as Israel's right to exist cannot be denied, neither can Palestine's."
