The US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has told the BBC that the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed his commitment to further negotiations.
Ms Clinton indicated that hardening the tone with Israel had paid off, with the talks now back in prospect.
