How to report road rage
- Published
Here, external is a link to the national dashcam safety portal - click your region to report road rage or dangerous driving near you.
If you're in Scotland or Northern Ireland, report non-urgent crimes through 101.
There are a few requirements to be aware of - you must be able to provide the registration number of the offending vehicle. If you can't read the reg in your video, then the police probably can't either.
You should also be prepared to sign a witness statement and possibly give evidence in court.
And for it to be investigated, you should upload your footage within seven days of the suspected offence.
Finally, do not edit the footage and do not upload it to social media.
