It's chaos in the Chauhan house as Rita juggles getting the kids off to school with last minute packing before she goes off on her residential course. She has devised a list of things to do for Pradeep but he isn't impressed. Rita says she is just trying to help that's all.
Rita rushes off to take the kids to school. Mary pops round to see how Kamla is and Pradeep says she has been a bit quiet. Mary jokes he is going to have his work cut out for him this week looking after Kamla and the kids. Why doesn't he make himself a list?
Outside the kids tell Rita she looks the part in her new suit and boots. Krishan reckons she must be really excited. Rita admits she is actually a bit nervous. How is she going to last a whole week?
Mary reckons Kamla will come round in time. Why doesn't Pradeep tell her he needs her while Rita is away? That might get her out of her room and involved again. Then Rita returns from the school run and Mary tells her to enjoy the course before leaving. Rita thinks Pradeep has given the impression she is going on holiday rather than on an intensive course of study. She suggests she might make her own way to the train station but Pradeep tells her to stop being silly. He will be waiting in the car.
The atmosphere in the car is tense and when they get to the station Pradeep tells Rita to phone as soon as she gets there. He drives off leaving Rita feeling a bit alone....
