Kuljit has gone to work leaving Rachel and Amrit in the flat. Rachel tells Amrit it's Kuljit's birthday. She thinks they should do something special so why don't they plan something together?
Rachel calls Sway to ask him over to celebrate. He's busy at the Centre but promises he'll make it there later. He's settling down to work when the phone rings again. This time it's Sarah. She wants to know if he'll put her up for a week because she's just been dumped and can't face staying at home. Sway says he'll have her for two but on one condition: that she'll help out at the Centre!
Rachel gets home from work early to find Amrit struggling to make fairy cakes. She gives him a hand as he reminisces about feeding Kuljit when he was little.
Nadia sneaks into Sway's office while he's deep in thought over some spreadsheets. She teases him and Sway is secretly pleased by her attentions. Nadia isn't just there to see him, however. She needs to do some photocopying too. Sway's more than happy to help and Nadia presses her advantage - so why doesn't he visit Kamal with her tomorrow?
Later, Sway arrives at Kuljit's in time for the birthday boy's entrance. Kuls is touched by the surprise (Amrit has made a fairy cake for each of his birthdays he missed) but annoyed with Rachel for not warning him.
