Jodie goes to meet Simran at the salon and is followed in by Pervaiz. While Jodie takes a call on her mobile, Pervaiz hands Simran a present for Kesar - a set of bibs, including one embroidered with 'Granddad's special boy'. Kesar can always think of him as an honorary granddad.
Rita calls Matty's mum to ask if he can stay over to keep Krishan company. The atmosphere is tense and when Pradeep breaks a mug on top of everything else he wonders if Krish should go to Matty's instead. Rita's furious that Jas and Arun kept things a secret - and, even worse, Doctor Masud! Jodie and Simran call round to see Roopa but their timing couldn't be worse.
