Hassan’s practicing his proposal speech when Rehan phones to say he’s got tickets for an exhibition in London next week. He asks if Hassan and Shazia might like to join him. Hassan’s very reluctant - he had something important planned next week. Rehan tells him he thought it would be a chance for him to get to know him better, but he can see that three’s a crowd.
Hassan calls Rehan back to explain why he was so reluctant for him and Shazia to go to the exhibition. Rehan wonders what the big secret is, it’s not like they’re getting married. Hassan admits that this is exactly what he’s hoping will happen but he would like his blessing first. Rehan thinks they’ll be great together but warns him Shazia isn’t so easy to impress. He wishes him luck – he’s gonna need it.
