The Peace Pagoda was opened in June 1998. The pagoda is an oriental style of sacred tower and symbolises peace, compassion and the noble exemplary qualities of the Buddha.
The Vihara (monastery) was built in the summer of 2002 and houses the monks and visitors who come on retreat to the Peace Pagoda.
