The Wizard of Oz - The Birmingham Rep
Show ends ( 24th January 2004 )


Two shows on offer at the Rep. The main production is 'The Wizard of Oz'.

You can join Dorothy, Toto, Lion, Scarecrow and the Tin Man as they skip down the Yellow Brick Road.

If you like dressing up, you can go along to the 'Off To Oz Nights' where you can dress up as your favourite Oz character and join in the songs.

There'll be a prize for the best dressed! (
Off to Oz nights - Thursdays 18th Dec or Thursday 8th Jan).

Also on offer at the Rep is 'A Christmas Carol', showing at the Door.


Impressionist, actor and comedian Steve Nallon, (founder member of Spitting Image) retells Dickens' classic tale of the regeneration of the human spirit, in his own witty style - with just a few impersonations along the way!

It's panto time at the Hippodrome - with Cinderella.

Julian Clary brings his unique humour and a touch of fairy magic to the role of Dandini, Prince Charming's aide.

Joining him will be children's TV presenter Dave Benson Phillips, Henry Luxemburg, Rosemary Ashe and BBC WM Malcolm Boyden.

Cinderella runs from 19th December to 1st February.
