Nintendo’s journey began over a a century ago, in Kyoto, Japan on 23 September 1889 and their mascot, Mario, is the lead character in their most successful video game franchise. The first game in the Super Mario series was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) on 13 September 1985 and quickly became one of the best-selling games of all time.
