Changing the subject of the formula is a process of rearranging a formula so that a different variable is the subject.

Simultaneous equations are two or more equations with two or more variables.

Direct proportion is used to calculate the cost of petrol or exchange rates of foreign money. Inverse proportion occurs when one value increases and the other decreases.

In standard form, numbers are recorded as a number between 1 and 10 multiplied by a power of ten.
