Airmageddon: Flight Patrol

Enter the Airena and become an ace drone pilot in Airmageddon: Flight Patrol. Fly though 30 action-packed levels filled with enemies, hazards and challenges.

Airmaggedon: Flight Patrol is the ultimate test of airborne skill. In this fun platform game, you guide a drone through a series of increasingly tricky levels, while collecting gems and avoiding or destroying anything that gets in your way!

You don't need any special equipment to play – to navigate around the Airena, just use the arrow keys, or click and hold the mouse button then move your mouse around.

Press space bar to get a temporary speed boost, which will help you complete each level in double-quick time.

By collecting the gems dotted around each level, you'll soon have enough to upgrade your drone to something more cutting-edge.

Here are the drones you can choose from:

🌪️ Whirlwind – the entry-level option

🔪 Bladestorm – a decent all-rounder with strong armour

🔥 Flamespear – a super-fast model

🐝 W.A.S.P (Weaponised Assault Ship) – a wasp-shaped vehicle that moves quickly and has a real stinger of a weapon

🐲 D.R.A.G.O.N. (Direct Response Aerial Gyrocopter) – a dragon-shaped machine that burns through challenges in no time

🐷 P.I.G. (Personalised Interactive Gyrocopter) – a pig-shaped monster that excels in every area

Some levels have locked doors that only open when you complete a specific task.

This might be flying through a set of coloured rings.

Or blowing up a rival drone with your very own laser.

You'll also need to avoid the shots being fired by big static guns, dodge mines and generally steer clear of trouble!

Airmaggedon is the name of a classic CBBC game show devised by Steve Carsey, producer of the original BBC Two hit Robot Wars.

In the much-loved series, Airmageddon invited teams to bring their customised drones into a purpose-built arena known as the Airenea, where they had to complete a series of challenges culminating in a brutal dogfight. Presented by Will Best and Rachel Stringer, it ended by crowning Britain's Ultimate Aviator.
