The feast of Eid al-Fitr is a special celebration for Muslims around the world, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Eid al-Fitr, sometimes called Eid ul-Fitr, means “festival of the breaking of the fast.” It comes after a month in which Muslims fast each day, avoiding food and drink from dawn until sunset as a way to focus on faith, self‑discipline and helping others.
