Shini joined the Blue Peter team in 2024, bringing her vibrant energy and creativity to screens across the UK.

Born in Stafford in 2002, Shini is vegetarian and a big fan of olives - though sushi is a close second! Creativity flows through her veins, and she shares her love for music by playing the guitar. A huge reader, her favourite author is Jacqueline Wilson, and she’s a keen sports fan, having played badminton for the Staffordshire county team for five years.

As a content creator, Shini built up a large social media following during lockdown, sharing videos that celebrate her British, Indian and Malaysian heritage. She’s also a proud chai lover - especially when it’s made by her mum!

Shini has brought bundles of enthusiasm and positivity to every Blue Peter adventure so far, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 🤩
