Understanding ballet terms

Plié: Turn your feet out, like penguins, and then bend your knees.

Sauté: Jump up, so your legs are straight and bend them as you land.

Pirouette: Raise your arms up into the air with your arms slightly rounded, in an open circle. Twirl on the spot!
