Dave Gorman

BwaB: What does Danny (Danny Wallace) do towards this production?

Dave Gorman: He's my co-producer and my co-writer. So, he largely hangs around with a video camera, filming things that the camera crew won't film, in other words things with no morality. He is one of my dearest friends.

Rib: September the eleventh... Touchable or untouchable comedy?

Dave Gorman: Nothing is untouchable. The whole point about comedy is that if your attitude behind it is correct, then it's acceptable comedy. I don't find anything funny about September 11th but there have been some comedians who have done a really good job with it.

monkey boy: Would you ever turn a girl down for being the wrong star sign?

Dave Gorman: No, that would be ridiculous!

Lorraine: If you were channel controller of BBC TWO, which programmes would you axe and which would you introduce?

Dave Gorman: I would get Call my Bluff, which has been axed from day-time and put it onto BBC Two prime-time. It's a great show. When I was a kid it was great late-night entertainment and it should be back there. I have had enough of interior design shows, so I would axe those (if BBC Two has those).
