We had to make a tough decision regarding the 2026 Commonwealth Day Ceremony.  We are proud of our past coverage of the service.  Our decision not to broadcast the Commonwealth Day Ceremony in the same way we’ve done in previous years reflects the difficult choices we have to make in light of our funding challenges.  This year BBC News reported on the service on the on bulletins across the day, including on the News at Six on BBC One.
