Friends in St Feock

Voices from St Feock

Nina Davey's travels around Cornwall took her to Feock just outside Truro to meet a group of friends who meet up regularly.

Nina Davey our Voices audio gatherer for the BBC in Cornwall went along to carry out an interview with four members of a lunch group who meet fortnightly in the parish of St Feock near Truro.

They chatted together in the vestry or side room of the Sunday School where the lunches were served.

They are a very friendly group who enjoy chatting.

Ivor
Ivor is one of the Feock crew

Ivor has got gout but he joined in with gusto. Everyone loved Ivor's stories and thought he was quite daring in what he said.

Valerie and Gerald were nervous and took time to settle in to the conversation. But they soon joined in.

Maureen loves a good laugh and encourages others to join in. She's definitely the group leader.

Now you have met the group - hear what they have to say.
