Lasse Marhaug is one of the most active artists in the Norwegian noise/experimental music scene, frequently branching into improv, jazz, rock and extreme metal. Death of the Noise Artist is a new multi-channel piece for electronics and field recordings and is a musical examination of the surroundings in which he grew up, a rural area above the Arctic Circle in Norway.
