Good Friday this year marks 100 years to the day since the death of Charles Villiers Stanford. With deep connections to Cambridge, and as a former conductor of The Bach Choir, Stanford is celebrated live on BBC Radio 3 with a performance of his Stabat Mater by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Daniel Hyde, Director of Music at King's College, also conducts us and The Bach Choir, in music by Parry and Vaughan Williams.
