BBC Radio 1 presenter Katie Thistleton will be joined by CBBC’s Hacker T Dog and BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music’s Mark Radcliffe to kick off the Christmas festivities. From 3pm, families will be able to browse through the numerous Christmas food and drink options at the markets and around MediaCityUK. The Switch on begins at 5pm alongside the ice rink which will also be open from 5pm.
With special performances, the launch of the MediaCityUK Christmas Markets will be a night to celebrate with friends, family and colleagues. The evening includes a performance from members of the BBC Philharmonic and much, much more!
