Pork loin steak recipes
Pork loin steaks are a lean and relatively cheap cut of pork taken from the back of the pig. They are essentially a boneless prok chop with much of the fat trimmed away. As with most lean meat, they are best cooked quickly to prevent them drying out or becoming tough. Thinner steaks will take less time than a thick cut. You can tell the pork is cooked when no pinkness remains in the centre of the thickest part of the steak.
Deliciously sticky soy-glazed pork makes a quick supper, if you use an air fryer. Serve with rice tossed with sliced spring onions, if you like.
This recipe is part of an air fryer meal plan for one.
