The work of Louise Shotter is very original and inventive and has received a fantastic reaction since it was put on display.

Although Louise is now based in the south of the UK she is no stranger to Worcestershire and for a time lived in Droitwich.

Louise said 'I have been working with silver for the past two years. In this time my work has developed, evolved and gained strength with what I hope is a unique style.

"I originally trained as a potter, selling my work all over the UK, but was forced to change direction.

"The challenge has been inspiring, starting from afresh and looking at things with a new eye.
Inspiration is everywhere, from luggage tags and everyday objects, wildlife and love.

"Using silver, gold and precious gems the range of work is wide and varied'.

Many pieces are one of a kind; each piece is unique and individually designed and made by Louise.

Each piece has her own registered hallmark.

Steve Allen of the bohemia gallery said. 'Both Louise and her work are a joy, her ideas are just great, the 'Memory' bangles that are stamped and imprinted with what ever message you want - your wedding day, children's names and dates of birth or to your favourite poem, make a very special and treasured piece of jewellery.

"I love the solid silver 'shark' necklace for the boys, apart from being a stunning piece of jewellery it doubles as a 'chip fork'!
