About the author
Christopher Shores served in the Air Training Corps and the Royal Air Force during the 1950s. He then trained as a chartered surveyor, and also became a writer on aviation topics - producing many books, articles and pamphlets. Among them are Aces High (Neville Spearman, 1966, revised 1994), Fighters over the Desert, Fledgling Eagles (Grub Street, 1991), and numerous other titles. One of his latest works, Those Other Eagles, was published in July 2004.
