Mealtimes

Mealtimes in Germany tend to be early as the working day begins early too.

Breakfast in a hotel is generally served from 6.30am onwards. Many employees have a second breakfast or mid-morning snack between 9am and 10am. Lunch starts at noon.

The traditional German supper, generally cold with sausage and cheese, is around 6 pm. Eating habits are becoming more varied nowadays.
