The words neben, in, anand hinter (called prepositions) can indicate motion. When they do so as in the above examples, dieand dasdon't change but note how derin der Taxistand changes to den Taxistand.

This change is triggered by the prepositions neben, in, anand hinter when they indicate motion and all three - den, die and dasare now in the accusative case.
