Merseyside Breakfast 6am-8.30am

Join Claire Hamilton and Lee Bennion as they delve into the story of Scouse looking at why different people across Merseyside talk in a variety of ways, and some without a trace of Scouse at all. You can have your say by calling the programme on 0151 709 933 or texting 07786 209333.

Tony Snell 8.30am - 11.30am

Snelly finds out if your accent can tell people how posh tyou are. To take part in the fun call the programme on 0151 709 9333

Roger Phillips 11.30am - 2pm

Liverpool's relationship with the sea and the effect of the docks on the city's accent will be explored in a special programme on Friday 26th August. The Docker-mentary will chart the language culture and influence of the people who worked along Liverpool's waterfront and in the city at large.

Linda McDermott 5pm-7pm

Linda will be comparing the different accents across the generations, talking to groups of teenagers and older members of communities to discover if they speak differently and whether there are communication differences and problems between age groups.
