School Days at Major Lester primary school from John Newcombe
It was taken in 1967 at Major Lester primary school in Walton now called Hope Valley school.
It's brought back a few memories! The head master at the time was Walter Coran, a tall man with a limp, he used to lean on me when walking down the corridor, still got the bruise on my shoulder...
I'm still good friends with some pupils at the time.
