More memories of Burtonwood...
My mother is from Allerton Liverpool. She married my dad while he was stationed at Burtonwood. They were married in 1951. My Mom is Betty Spargo Greenwell and my dad is Lloyd Greenwell. Mom moved with my dad to the states shortly after 1951. They returned to Europe in 1958 for four years while my dad did a tour of Germany. My question is this: If anyone remembered my Mom or my dad from that time in Burtonwood I'd love to hear from you. Please let me know if you remember either one of my parents or if you have a memory that you'd like to share with Mom. She worked as an air traffic controller at Speke many many years ago. We still have family in Liverpool and return as often as possible. Thank you so much for your time. Lynda Greenwell Matthews ldmatt123@aol.com
