Fresh from a sensational run on Broadway and currently celebrating its fourth successful year in London's West End, Stones in His Pockets is the story of what happens when a major Hollywood film studio descends on a village in rural Ireland.

The films demand for extras from the local community is huge and as the story unfolds, the life of over 15 extraordinary characters is brought to life by just two actors, Jean-Paul Van Cauwlaert and Martin Jenkins.

This comedy full of Irish charm is written by Marie Jones whose credits include A Night In November and Women on the Verge of HRT.

After enjoying great success in Ireland the play won a host of awards and took the West End and Broadway by storm.

Stones in His Pockets runs from October 14th to October 18th at the Liverpool Playhouse. Tickets cost £20, concessions £6 - available from the Box Office 0151 709 4776
