An exhibition which highlights the legacy of the Commonwealth Games for Manchester residents is touring venues across the City.

The 'This is Manchester Exhibition Roadshow' sets out to promote the lasting benefit to the City of new venues such as the Aquatics Centre, the National Squash Centre and the City of Manchester Stadium.

The exhibition will also be used as a method of providing residents and visitors with information about key sporting and non-sporting events during the Games.

Victoria Train Station
22nd July - 4th August

Central Reference Library
23rd July - 4th August

The Leader of Manchester City Council, Councillor Richard Leese said: "The Commonwealth Games will have a lasting legacy for ordinary people in Manchester. Quite apart from providing access to new, world class sporting venues, the Games have helped to bring over £600 million of public and private investment to the City and will generate the equivalent of 6,100 full-time jobs. This exhibition is one way of making residents aware of how much of a difference the Games will make to them in the long and short term."
