Pulp's Return No Fiction

"I've had anxiety dreams over Pulp gigs" - Jarvis Cocker.

Since their album ‘Different Class’ rocketed to number one back in 1995 and spawned four top ten singles, including the mighty festival anthem ‘Common People’ – the band who had been plugging away for years suddenly became primary figures in the erstwhile Britpop movement.

Since those heady days Jarvis has of course gone on to become a bit of a national treasure with his solo career and as a broadcaster on our very own 6 Music.

This year's series of gigs is the first time that all original Pulp members have been on stage together since August 1996. The songwriting talents of Mr Cocker are timeless, though - watch as the T crowd welcomes Pulp back to Balado.
