Man arrested on suspicion of murder after stabbing

A 40 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a stabbing in Birmingham.

West Midlands Police said they were called to a house on South Road, Hockley, just after 17:15 BST on Friday.

A man was confirmed dead at the scene.

The 40 year-old man who was arrested at the address remained in custody, the force said and they appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
