Four arrested over sports club break-ins

Four people have been arrested in connection with break-ins at two sports clubs in Keighley.

Thieves targeted Keighley Golf Club and Keighley RUFC between 7 and 9 January, and stole golf buggies, knives and alcohol.

West Yorkshire Police said a 19-year-old man, two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy have since been arrested.

The force has appealed for anyone with information about either incident to get in touch.

Flats could be built above ex-department store

Bradford Council grants permission for 34 flats to be built above premises dating back to 1870.

The new fleet of buses will cost £6.5m and will be "ultra-low emission" and fully accessible.

About 150 people gathered at Queensbury Tunnel near Bradford to protest a decision to fill it in.

Residents have campaigned for the return of the Oakenshaw Cross since it was removed in 2022.
