The police have charged a 32-year-old man with murder

A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of another man in south Belfast.

He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

The charge relates to the death of a man in the Cromwell Road area of the city on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old victim was found following a report of a concern for safety.

The police said the man was taken to hospital by members of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) but later died.

They are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
