Man dies and teen injured in A27 crash
Eddie MitchellA man has died in a crash on the A27 in Brighton, Sussex Police have said.
Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash on the A27 westbound, near the Amex Stadium at Falmer, at 02:00 GMT on Wednesday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his next of kin has been informed, police said.
A 16-year-old boy was also taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment, South East Coast Ambulance Service said.
No arrests have been made.
BBC/George CardenThe A27 was closed westbound between the Kingston roundabout and the Carden Avenue, Brighton junction, but it reopened shortly before 16:00.
Sussex Police advised drivers that knock-on delays were likely while the road reopened.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service has been approached for comment.
