Police searching for a man in connection with an attempted murder investigation have made an arrest.

A woman is in a stable condition in hospital following an incident in Carmarthen Park, Carmarthenshire, on Thursday between 15:00 and 16:00 GMT.

Det Ch Supt Ross Evans from Dyfed-Powys Police thanked the community and media for assisting the investigation.
