Works on a stretch of the Main Road in Colby have been scheduled to take place until Friday

Parking has been suspended on a main road through a southern village on the Isle of Man while patching works take place.

Work on Main Road in Colby has been scheduled run from 09:30 GMT on Monday until 15:30 on Friday, the Department of Infrastructure said.

Temporary traffic lights have been put in place along the stretch of road between Cronk-Y-Thatcher and Eyreton to maintain two-way traffic during the project.

The works mean parking has been suspended on both sides of the route while repairs take place.

The department said further remedial work would be carried out to the west of the initial repairs, if time allowed during the week.
