Ex-officer facing indecent child images charges

A former special constable with Leicestershire Police has been charged with making indecent images of children.

Jamie Wallace is facing three counts of the offence, the force said, alleged to have been committed between December 2018 and October 2023.

The 21-year-old is currently on police bail and is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

Special constables are volunteer officers who assist the force's work in a variety of ways.
