Two people injured in two vehicle collision on A303

Two people were injured after a collision between two cars, police reported.

Emergency services attended the scene of the crash on the A303 between Southfields Roundabout in Ilminster and South Petherton, which happened on Sunday at about 16:30 GMT.

A man and a woman, have suffered injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The road was closed in both directions while emergency services were at the scene and has since reopened.
