Bomb squad detonates device found in shed

A bomb disposal team has detonated a device found in a shed.

Norfolk Police was called to Riverside Close in Hellesdon, near Norwich, at about 11:00 GMT on Wednesday.

A 100m (330ft) cordon was put up after the member of public raised the alarm.

Police said the Army's explosive ordnance disposal team arrived at 14:18 GMT and the device was detonated at 15:55 GMT.
