A man has died after a crash involving two cars and a lorry parked in a lay-by in Leicestershire.

Officers were called to the A4303 westbound, near the roundabout at junction 20 of the M1 in Lutterworth, just before 18:00 GMT on Wednesday following a collision between a silver Volkswagen Golf, a black Honda Civic and a stationary white Scania lorry.

Emergency services attended the scene but the driver of the Golf - a man in his 30s - was pronounced dead shortly afterwards. No other injuries were reported and no-one was arrested.

Leicestershire Police is urging people with dashcam footage to come forward or witnesses who may have seen the Golf or Civic before the crash.
