Campaigners have asked for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's name to be removed from a granite monument in St Helier.

They have objected to the former prince's connections with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his recent arrest relating to allegations of misconduct in public office.

Ports of Jersey said any action to alter the monument in Elizabeth Marina in St Helier would be taken once the formal investigation into Mountbatten-Windsor had been completed and if Ports was given an instruction by the Royal Household.

The King's brother has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
