Passenger, 18, dies and two others hurt in crash

An 18-year-old man who was a passenger in a car has died and two others are in hospital following a crash.

Dorset Police said it received reports of a single-vehicle collision involving a black Volvo V70 on Morden Road, near Wareham, at 20:42 GMT on Wednesday.

The man died at the scene and the driver, a man aged in his 20s, and another male teen passenger suffered serious injuries and have been taken to hospital.

Investigating officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
