The National Trust confirmed Calke Abbey, in Ticknall, was used for the series which follows Claire Randall, a 20th Century nurse who is swept back to 18th Century Scotland, becoming entwined in war, rebellion and a romance.
The shoot brought together more than 100 supporting artists, horses, specialist crew and a stunt team to transform the site's stableyard.
Caroline Taylor, visitor operations manager at Calke Abbey, said the filming in September 2024 "brought a sense of excitement" to the estate.

The first season of Outlander was not seen in the UK until 2015, but by then fans of the show from the US and Germany were coming to Scotland to visit filming locations.
The eighth and final season, being shown on MGM+ in the UK, sees the story reach its climax.
